Andy Roddick's as Fashion Designer

We haven't gotten to see too much of Andy playing this summer, but I'm looking forward to seeing his new designs for Lacoste up close and personal over the next few weeks. Look at the logo from his new duds.

I really liked the look from Lotto that good old Flytrap (Venus Flytrap that is, aka Tsvetana Pironkova) was wearing. Even though she will not be repeating as a Wimbledon Semi-Finalist this year, she looked great in last 3-set contest today.

The Lotto look left that the biggest impression on me is unfortunate disaster worn by Dominik Hrbarty at the US Open. The pink. The cut-out back. It was all bad.

Caroline's Ruffles

It is always exciting to see what Caroline Wozniacki will be wearing. I'm glad that she's in the Adidas by Stella McCartney designs versus Maria Kirilenko who started out wearing them.  Maria never got too far in tournaments so there wasn't much opportunity to see the designs.

Serena's Look - lovely Navy trim on the design:



Maria Sharapova's Look  features gold trim across the bodice. 

Vika's Dress is a lovely, plain white dress. This one and Serena's are my two faves. Ni La's has been omitted b/c its 2 pieces.

Wimbledon - Day 1 - All about VEE

It can be so strange to see the grass courts at Wimbledon after the watching the red terre battu for the past couple months. But on we go...

Did anyone see Venus's outfit today? I need a better look at it. I do know that it is a jumper. But, it seems to be made of terry cloth. I didn't catch the match today and we'll see if she wears it again.  I wish that she went for better quality and more upscale looks w/her EleVen line.

I hope she kicks butt in this tournament b/c I definitely enjoy her game and I bet she won't be active for too  much longer.

I Love Nike

One of my fave blogs has found pics from Nike's new Make Yourself campaign. The ad is total athletic glam and features tennis faves, Maria Sharapova and Li Na.  The only thing that could make this pic better is if Serena was also featured. 



Looking at all these abs makes me want to go do some crunches....
